Perennial weeds?

Ragtime does not just control Ragwort but will spot treat a range of other perennial weeds such as patches of Dock, Thistle, and Buttercup.

Most weeds, including Thistles and Buttercups, are best controlled just before they come into flower. Dock, however are best controlled when they are about half wellington boot height. Nettles are best controlled when they are about 30 cm high. Ragtime kills the tops of the weeds and also works down to the roots.

All weeds must be actively growing and no rain should be forecast for six hours to allow complete drying. For non-poisonous weeds, horses can be returned after 14 days. Ragwort must have died and decayed before horses can return. Weeds can take up to four weeks to die especially in cold conditions.

Dense patches of persistent weeds may require a follow up application in the following year.
