How to use Ragtime

Assembling the sprayer


	Remove the three red ties being especially careful when you remove the tie from the trigger.		Pull out the red clip located below the pump and remove the red domed cap located over the pressure valve.

	Unclip the spray lance from the bottle and push it firmly into the trigger. Tighten the screw at the end of the trigger.		The sprayer is now ready to use. Pressurise the sprayer using the pump. Rotate the pump slightly anticlockwise to unlock it. Pump five or six times to pressurise the sprayer.

	Depress the trigger and spraying will begin. The coarseness of the spray can be adjusted by rotating the nozzle. It is advised that the spray droplets should not be too coarse as they will bounce off the leaf and not be effective. As spraying continues the pressure in the sprayer will drop and further pumping will be required to maintain pressure. Position the sprayer lance a minimum of 30 cm over the target weed and spray to just before the spray starts to run off.

Using the refill
Unscrew the childproof lid on the refill. Press the spout into the neck of the refill. Unscrew the pump from the sprayer and pour the contents of the refill pack into the sprayer.

Disposal of empty containers
Providing they are washed out, empty Ragtime sprayers and refill containers can be disposed of in the dustbin. It is illegal to pour chemical down the drain. Wash the container out over bare soil or a gravel surface. Do not wash out over soil intended for growing plants.
